Love Sushi? Want to make it at home? Well here's the perfect recipe on how to make shrimp tempura sushi.

Ingredients:

  • Shrimp
  • tempura batter
  • nori(seaweed)
  • rice or sushi rice
  • cucumber
  • avocado( depends on if you want it in your sushi)
  • eel sauce
  • spicy mayo sauce
  • bamboo mat
  • plastic
Steps to make the shrimp tempura:

First, mix the batter with cold water until it will stick enough. Peel the skin of the shrimp and when finished, dip the shrimp into the batter until completely covered with batter. Repeat with each shrimp.

Then, to fry the tempura use a pan or small pot to heat the oil. When  the oil is heated up, make sure you put in the shrimp tempura carefully. Pick tempura up when golden brown.

Steps to make the sushi:

First, take out a sheet of nori and place the rough side up. Spread the rice out on the rough side.

Then, turn the nori on the side that has no rice and place the tempura on the nori. Make sure that the shrimp tempura in the middle have their tails peeled off.

Next, cut the cucumber into really thin slices and place it in front of tempura.

Now, cut the avocado into little slices. Place the avocado on the front of the cucumbers.

Now before rolling the sushi, make sure you put the plastic over the filling into a loose roll. Now tuck the roll in to make it tighter.

Then, put the plastic over again and you will see that the roll moves a little bit forward. Squeeze again to make sure the roll is tight. Repeat until finished tightening the roll.

How to decorate your sushi and enjoy it:

Now cut the sushi into 8 pieces. Make as many rolls as you want. Spread the eel sauce around up and down. For the spicy mayo sauce, Use a chopstick and place each bit of sauce on a piece of sushi. Now you are ready to eat your delicious sushi. Also eat with CHOPSTICKS. It is a lot easier picking up the sushi with the chopsticks.
